There will always be winners and losers. When people always post sad updates, they are doing it for attention... Nobody posts things personal and sad on Facebook to gain pity. When people, good people, are going through rough times, some share and some don't. The ones who share don't always realize how lucky they are to have people to share with, because the reality is that most people don't have that someone to share with. Most people perceive pain, sorrow, and feelings as a weakness, but it is our strength. It is a big thing that separates us from the monkeys you see in the zoo. Do you ever see them crying or hugging because one feels sad? No, you don't. As a man should never outlive his children, the child, should never have to care for the parent as the parent once did for the child. When that happens, a part of your innocence vanishes. It disappears, never to be found again. As a child you should never have to see tour parents cry, either. Is it easy to deal with it? No. But doing something irrational like yelling at somebody, pushing those who love and care about you away and, the ultimate issue in today's society: suicide, are not what humans are supposed to do. They do however, make us human. Who has ever seen a bird commit suicide? A bear? Even as much as a spider? It is not natural, but the human race has been altered by all of the technology and discoveries of today's world. That is good and that is bad. On the bad hand you have suicide, loneliness, and many other bad emotions and thoughts no good person should have to go through. But on the good hand you have respect, and politeness. A male shark does not let a female eat the kill because she must have it to birth their young, he does it because she is bigger than him, and therefore intimidating. Who are we to force mere philosophies on each other? Unless mankind has actually felt and seen god, if he is even there, create the world and everything in it, then there is no difference in religions. They are all a group of people who are misguided and must be set on track by a god of their choosing. Wether they are raised to believe in him/her or not. God represents something higher than yourself, that is responsible for the great gift of life. We need to learn and accept that. And when we do, we will have inner peace, that of which cannot be bought or sold. The people who oppose gay marriage... What is it to you? If you are worried about humans dying out because 2 males cannot reproduce that you're an idiot. What skin is it off of your nose? None. How would you like it If you had to go to another country to find a better car than you were dealt and you met someone of the same sex that you wanted to marry as somebody just came along and said nope sorry. Honestly think of that. Think if you and your wife/husband couldn't get married because somebody didn't believe in it. Despite true love, you were never to be together. Let the religions do what they want with it, but they should ot be recognized by the government. Religions are for the most part prejudicial, intolerant institutions that do much more harm than good by encouraging people to accept what cannot be demonstrated. It leads to sloppy thinking.
