After coming out against texting while driving on Tuesday, Governor Charlie Crist gave a vote of confidence for beleaguered Florida State University head coach Bobby Bowden on Wednesday. Gotta hand it to old Charlie – he sure knows how to take a stand on the most important issues facing Florida and the nation.

Straight “up or down” votes–you’re either for them or against them.  Or maybe, Senator Lieberman, you’re opposed when it suits your agenda and for them when it suits your whim.  Regardless, your “conscience” clearly has nothing to do with it.

I want to sign up for the course “Become a  Prayer Practitioner in 30 Days.”  Better yet, maybe I’ll create a certification program so I can train you to pray for the ill at, let’s say, 50 bucks an hour. There’s plenty of money to go around.
